pieces that I can personally recommend :)
The Olympic Firebowl by Trip Trap
I have one of these and I love it!
We take it camping, to the beach and use it
in our garden. This will last a life time.
Panton Chair by Verner Panton
We have these in our garden, around a nice wooden table.
Beautiful timeless chair that again will last forever!
Ant Chair by Arne Jacobsen
I have 6 of these in dark stained oak.
I absolutely love them - actually I love them more
and more the longer I have them.
Vipp 15 Bin by Holger Neilsen
Officially the most beautiful bin in the world!
I have this one in my kitchen.
I would now never want anything else!
I love the white, but the black is beautiful too :)
I consider buying these pieces as an investment because
truly they are pieces that can be handed down generations
and they will never lose their value or design classic status.

Wow, wow, wow...
This morning I am very happy to welcome my newest sponsor to this blog!
Rough Linen is a US based company founded by Tricia Rose...
Here is her story:
"My name is Tricia Rose. I found this homespun, hand sewn linen pillow slip while I was clearing my grandmother's cottage in Scotland. It was made by her great-grandmother, in 1840, and was in regular use for three generations.
When it came to me I used it to store lavender. Years later, by good fortune, I found a natural linen with the same wonderful texture and feel, and I decided to make bedding in this simple, elemental tradition.
I wanted the feeling of connection, appreciation of good materials and handiwork which is part of my heritage, as part of my everyday life .
I hope you love it as I do. With care, it should last a hundred years."
I definitely have a thing for beautiful bedlinen and I must say that Rough
Linen is selling something really special......
....On my wish list :)

Beach House in Uruguay
......(translated means the Troll Wall) is surely one of the most beautiful spots
in the world! The fjords of Norway have always been on my list of places I
must see. The new visitors centre designed by Reiulf Ramstad Architects
has recently opened and its design has been thoughtfully considered, bearing in mind
the outstanding natural beauty around it. Jagged roofs, raw woods, glass walls and
tables made out of Dinesens Heart Oak planks - surely Dinesens stunning products
couldn't find a more apt location than here to showcase its natural beauty!
